Excited About Denziman’s DaiDenzin SMP

Following the lengthy and unpredictable wave lists of normal and Premium Bandai SMPs seen in Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger (Power Rangers Wild Force), the Shokugan Modeling Project is once again rewinding to the early eighties. Bandai is currently working on a Super Sentai Shokugan Modeling Project release for Denshi Sentai Denziman. Adding to the roster of 1980s Super Sentai series Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan, Choudenshi Bioman, and Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Denziman will be the fourth SMP from the Showa era.

In light of that, what are your thoughts? You are welcome to share it with us in the comment box that follows. In my opinion, there is something special about the classic Super Sentai mecha. However, it depends on how Bandai would adapt it into an SMP figure. My opinion is that Bio Robo is one of the most aesthetically pleasing of the Super Sentai mecha, but the SMP version of it has a lot of flaws, such as stickers that come off too easily, and I’ve already broken a few of its components. On the other hand, Sun Vulcan has this really retro robot aesthetic, yet as soon as I finished creating its SMP version, I felt immediately hooked by it. His slim hands and broad feet work really well on the SMP version, and the fact that there are fewer stickers is another advantage, along with the huge variety of weapons that are available. Its completed SMP appears to be well-built and appears to be more stable than Bio Robo’s. I have high hopes that DaiDenzin SMP will face fewer problems, if any at all.

Denziman’s primary Mecha, DaiDenzin, can also transform into an airplane mode known as Denzi Fighter. The DaiDenzin SMP will be distributed in two different boxes, and it is anticipated that the design of the boxes would be identical to that of the original Deluxe version. The Denzi Sword, Denzi Ball, and DaiDenzin Boomerang are also included in this bundle at no additional cost. Beginning in December 2022, consumers will be able to purchase DaiDenzin for a price that is approximately equal to 47 USD or 6,600 JPY.
