Bandai Japan Announces Showa Ultraman’s Zoffy, Taro and Ace S.H. Figuarts

You can avail S.H. Figuarts Zoffy, Ultraman Ace, and Ultraman Taro starting September 2023.

All Ultraman fans, rejoice! Bandai Japan and Tamashii Nations are expanding its S.H. Figuarts line with three new Showa Ultramans. The first is Zoffy (aka Ultraman Zoffy), the commander of the Inter Galactic Defense Force and the second member and leader of the Ultra Brothers. He initially debuted in the final episode of the original Ultraman TV series. Following that is Ultraman Ace from the fifth Ultra series, and Ultraman Taro from the sixth Ultra series.

S.H. Figuarts Zoffy

S.H. Figuarts Zoffy was based on the Zoffy from the original Ultraman TV series. S.H. Figuarts Zoffy comes with a Beta Capsule that divides Hayata and Ultraman, as well as the M87 ray effect. A replacement head that may be utilized in “S.H. Figuarts Ultraman” to recreate the scene where Ultraman is vanquished is also included! The 150mm S.H. Figuarts Zoffy set includes the main body, two left replacement wrists, three right replacement wrists, M87 light beam effect, Beta capsule, alternate head for Ultraman, and color timer.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ace

With the assistance of LSS, Tsuburaya Productions’ molding department, S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ace authentically reproduces the action figure from Ultraman Ace television series. The mask, which has a distinct and enigmatic aura, includes the design during the shooting process, and the objective is that it is asymmetrical. You can fully experience Ace’s pose with various beam techniques thanks to the S.H. Figuarts’ great range of motion. The 150mm S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ace set includes the main body, two left replacement wrists, three right replacement wrists, and effect parts for the special move. Vertical Guillotine and Metallium Ray are incorporated.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Taro

Tsuburaya Productions thoroughly supervised the three-dimensionalization of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Taro with overpowering modeling and proportions. It is shaped like the initial mask. It comes with a strium ray effect that can be reproduced by attaching it to the left wrist, a bracelet lancer, a taro bracelet, and a king bracelet. The 150mm S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Taro set includes the main body, two left replacement wrists, three right replacement wrists, Strium beam reproduction parts, Taro bracelet, King bracelet, Bracelet lancer, and replacement color timer.

Each Showa Ultramans S.H. Figuarts will cost 6,050 yen or 43.40 USD, plus 10% tax, and you can already place your order because they began accepting pre-orders on June 1, 2023. In S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ace, you can purchase a display that recreates a realistic pose of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ace. The cost is 5,500 yen (USD 39.46), tax included. S.H. Figuarts Zoffy, Ultraman Ace, and Ultraman Taro will be available in September 2023.
