Top Ten Power Rangers Series According To ChatGPT
I recently ask ChatGPT app for its Top Ten Power Rangers series and here’s a quite surprising result.
And by the way, just in case you want to watch some of the series, The official YouTube channel of Power Rangers have full episodes of its older series from Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers until Power Rangers Dino Super Charge.
10. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000)
Super Sentai Counterpart: KyuKyu Sentai GoGoFive (1999)
The tenth on the list is the eighth season Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. Personally, I haven’t watch the entire series yet, even the Super Sentai version KyuKyu Sentai GoGoFive but there are things that Lightspeed Rescue unique from other Power Rangers series. Lightspeed Rescue is the first Power Rangers series to introduce its first Ranger that haven’t appeared on a Sentai version. Titanium Ranger is 100% Power Rangers-made ranger.
09. Power Rangers Mystic Force (2006)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Mahou Sentai Magiranger (2005)
Came at number nine according to ChatGPT is the fantasy-inspired series Power Rangers Mystic Force. The series is the 14th Season of Power Rangers that runs between February 20 to November 13, 2006 in Toon Disney’s Jetix. Mystic Force is a decent season but I wish they didn’t focus too much on the red ranger and give more importance to other characters.
08. Power Rangers Ninja Storm (2003)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger (2002)
Number eight on ChatGPT’s list is the eleventh season Power Rangers Ninja Storm. A ninja team that features a first 3-member rangers and the first blue female ranger in Power Rangers version. The series started the Disney era of the franchise. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Power Rangers and the series re-introduced me once again to Tokusatsu in general.
7. Power Rangers Jungle Fury (2008)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Juken Sentai Gekiranger (2007)
Power Rangers Jungle Fury is the sixteenth Power Rangers and the final series to be aired on Jetix. This is the second time that Power Rangers introduces Power Rangers-exclusive rangers called the Spirit Rangers. I haven’t watch the entire series yet so I don’t have any side comments yet but based on many video clips online, I think, it’s a must-watch Power Rangers series.
6. Power Rangers Dino Thunder (2004)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger (2003)
The twelfth season and the second Dino theme in Power Rangers series. One of the original rangers in the first Dino theme Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Tommy Oliver (Jason David Frank) returned to the series to reprise his role and became the Black Dino Thunder ranger. For me, this is highly a recommend season for new comers to the series. Power Rangers Dino Thunder also gives us a glimpse of Super Sentai world in Powwer Rangers when one of the Dino Thunder episode shows its Super Sentai counterpart Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger where the rangers are watching television shows.
5. Power Rangers RPM (2009)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Engine Sentai Go-0nger (2008)
Number five on the list according to ChatGPT is the seventeenth season and the last Disney era in Power Rangers series, Power Rangers RPM. For me, Power Rangers RPM is one of the best series overall. I love the way they utilized the source material from one of Super Sentai’s goofiest series Engine Sentai Go-Onger into a perfect post-apocalyptic theme Power Rangers series.
4. Power Rangers S.P.D. (2005)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger (2004)
Power Rangers’ thirteenth season, Power Rangers S.P.D. is the fourth best Power Rangers season according to ChatGPT. It’s a series that is set 20 years into the future from the actual year of Power Rangers S.P.D. series – and just 2 years from now. Power Rangers S.P.D. is a fantastic series but filled with controversies.
3. Power Rangers In Space (1998)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Denji Sentai Megaranger (1997)
Power Rangers In Space is the sixth season of Power Rangers series and also the final Zordon era of Power Rangers. In Space is the first Power Rangers to introduced the Battlizer Mode and use Power Rangers-exclusive weapons that weren’t use in Super Sentai counterpart.
2. Power Rangers Time Force (2001)
Super Sentai Counterpart: Mirai Sentai Timeranger (2000)
Power Rangers Time Force is the ninth season of the franchise featuring a team of rangers from the future. The series’ storyline is very similar to it’s Super Sentai counterpart Mirai Sentai Timeranger except some small adjustments. Time Force is a great series to watch.
1. Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers (1993 – 1996)
Super Sentai Counterparts: Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (1992), Gosei Sentai Dairanger (1993) and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger (1994)
It’s no surprise that the first Power Rangers series Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers is the Top 1 according to ChatGPT. Although fans of Power Rangers series will consider it as an OK series if you want to focus on story and consistency but we can’t deny the MMPR series is the most popular for many people. From its rangers to the iconic Megazords, they are the most well known representation of the franchise.
As of the moment, this is the longest series and first series to expand up to 3 Seasons and use three different Seasons of Super Sentai from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
And here you have it. The Top 10 Power Rangers series according to ChatGPT. I’m quite surprise about the result except for others on the list. And if you have noticed, there are no series from Power Rangers Samurai to Power Rangers Dino Fury. I will ask another ChatGPT if the result varies from others.
