Netflix has confirmed that the Japanese voice actors for the Straw Hat Pirates in the One Piece TV anime will be reprising their roles in the Japanese dub of the live-action adaptation. This announcement was made during Netflix’s panel at Anime Expo, featuring a video featuring the meeting of live-action Luffy actor Inaki Godoy and voice actress Mayumi Tanaka. The production team’s commitment to preserving the authenticity and spirit of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga is evident. The live-action One Piece series will debut exclusively on Netflix on August 31st, featuring a talented ensemble including Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
