The anime is not a remake but a continuation of the beloved series, featuring the return of the original voice cast, Daisuke Ono as Sebastian Michaelis and Maaya Sakamoto as Ciel Phantomhive. The creative team, including Kenjirō Okada for directorial duties, Hiroyuki Yoshino for script composition, Yumi Shimizu for character design, and Ryo Kawasaki for music, will create a dark and atmospheric world for the series.
