One Piece Anime’s Japanese Voice Actors to Reprise Roles in Live-Action Series Dub

In an exciting announcement, Netflix has confirmed that the Japanese voice actors for the beloved Straw Hat Pirates in the One Piece TV anime will be reprising their roles in the Japanese dub of the highly anticipated live-action adaptation. This news was revealed during Netflix’s panel at Anime Expo, accompanied by a special video featuring the meeting of the live-action Luffy actor, Inaki Godoy, and the voice actress for Luffy, Mayumi Tanaka.

Fans of the long-running anime series can look forward to hearing their favorite characters voiced by the original Japanese cast in the live-action series. In addition to the Japanese dub, Netflix also announced that Inaki Godoy and Taz Skylar will lend their voices to the Spanish dub for the roles of Luffy and Sanji, respectively, further expanding the international reach of the series.

The live-action One Piece series is set to debut exclusively on Netflix on August 31st, offering fans a fresh take on the epic pirate adventure.
