“Rurouni Kenshin: The Anime Reboot You’ve Been Waiting For!”
Nobuhiro Watsuki’s popular manga series Rurouni Kenshin aka Samurai X, is getting a new anime reboot over two decades after the first Rurouni Kenshin anime television series was broadcasted in the mid-1990s.
The entire manga series will be retold in the new Rurouni Kenshin anime television series. The first promotional video for the anime series was uploaded to Aniplex’s official YouTube channel today, September 24, 2022, and has already amassed over 300,000 views. The new Rurouni Kenshin anime keynotes, including the main staff, main voice actors, and new sleek visual looks of the lead characters of the rebooted Rurouni Kenshin anime television series, Kenshin Himura and Kauro Kamiya, were also revealed during The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 on Saturday, September 24, 2022. In 2023, fans can anticipate the premiere of the highly anticipated Rurouni Kenshin TV anime series.
The new Rurouni Kenshin anime television series will be directed by Hideyo Yamamoto, with series composition by Hideyuki Kurata, character design by Terumi Nishii, music by Yu Takami, and production by Leiden Film. Soma Saito and Rie Takahashi will be the voice actors for Himura Kenshin and Kaoru Kamiya, respectively. Fuji TV‘s Noitamina block will serve as the debut home for the new Rurouni Kenshin anime series.
The waning interest in the show ultimately resulted in the early cancellation of the first Rurouni Kenshin anime television series. Despite this, I believe that fans from both older and younger generations will support the new Rurouni Kenshin anime television series. This is because all of the live-action Rurouni Kenshin movies have been massive hits, and the success of these movies has helped to introduce them to more fans all over the world.
